I am relaunching my ‘Unsung Heroes of Delyn’ campaign in order to once again recognise the individuals and organisations in Delyn who have gone that one step further to support their community.
Due to today being Local Community Day where the UK Community Network are encouraging people around the country to recognise those in their community who have gone above and beyond to help people in their local areas, I want to do just that by relaunching my campaign to recognise Delyn's 'Unsung Heroes'.
Originally, these awards were intended to recognise the contributions of people throughout the pandemic, however as we are beginning to transition out of restrictions I believe that it is really important to recognise that many people are continuing to provide support for their local communities regardless of what restrictions are in place.
I am really looking forward to seeing your nominations, as it is always incredibly heart warming to see examples of people going that one step further to help their local community.
