The work of the NHS and social carers and paid care workers is so vitally important for our communities. COVID-19 has demonstrated this to us. However, for many, care needs are often met by an army of unpaid carers. There are over 370,000 in Wales, with over 8 of them in Delyn.
I want to host this event to hear directly from the unpaid carer community what the problems are they face on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis and what it is they think I can do to help.
The event will also be hosted by NEWCIS and Carers UK and thy will be on hand to provide any practical or ongoing support for any needs that are raised.
The event will take place via Zoom and my office will provide the access details upon registration.
If you would like to attend this meeting, or if you would like any further information all you need to do is email your name and a contact number to rob.roberts.mp@parliament.uk saying “I would like to attend the event on the 31st July”.
