- HTC – Help to Claim - The Citizens Advice Help to Claim service offers tailored, practical support to help people make a Universal Credit (UC) claim and receive their first full payment on time.
- Youth Obligation - Offers intensive support from day one of a new Universal Credit claim for claimants aged 18-21 who are in the intensive work search regime.
- ReAct - Helps people affected by redundancy gain new skills
- Employability Skills Programme - Provides access to a range of support and training, including quality work experience with local companies, expert help, and advice on preparing for work, and training to develop your essential skills.
- Work Trials - The purpose of a Work Trial is to overcome any remaining suitability doubts a claimant in a disadvantaged group may have following a formal interview for a vacant post.
- Communities for Work - is a community based advisory service working to increase the employability of individuals who are not in employment, education, or training and who face complex barriers to employment. Communities for Work can provide support to help build confidence, gain work experience, learn new skills, or re-write CV’s. Communities for Work will help an individual and will meet then in their local community.
- Parents and Childcare & Employment (PaCE) - is a voluntary programme to help parents/guardians into training and employment where childcare is the main barrier. PaCE will cover the cost of childcare in order for an individual to prepare for and start work. PaCE offers 1-2-1 support out in the community providing guidance and training to those who are not in education, employment, or training.
